Klopp suffered his second defeat as Liverpool manager on Sunday as Newcastle United beat his below-par side 2-0 at St. James’ Park.
Liverpool’s Christian Benteke and substitute Daniel Sturridge were earlier both guilty of bad misses, but the Newcastle defence proved resilient and a midfield which had created little started to fire.
On suggestions that his team had played their way into the title picture, he gestured to the journalists sitting in front of him and said: “Everybody on this side of the table, maybe”.

Liverpool should have scored goal by their own with 10 minutes remaning when Alberto Moreno scored a goal with the flawless volley over Rob Elliot, but referee incorrectly called an offside.In the last minutes of the game The Reds were looking for a late equaliser, but they conceded another goal instead as Giorginio Wijnaldum finished a great through ball from Sissokho. We feel this defeat.

Newcastle United eased the pressure on manager Steve McClaren with a 2-0 win over in-form Liverpool.
Klopp added: “We have to think about if we did something wrong before the game”.
