Skype 6.4 brings a few new conversation enhancements for Android Wear

Microsoft’s Skype team has been hitting the update button with a few alacrity lately. Skype rolled out support for Apple Watch back in April.

Skype 6.4 for Android: Manage Conversations from Android Wear. It looks like you’ll be happy you did. No, you can’t carry on a Skype phone call from your watch, but you can at least check your watch to see who’s calling.

Skype has announced a new update that adds support for Android Wear smartwatches.

Google created the Android Wear operating system previous year specifically for smart watches and other wearable devices.

Obviously, Android Wear owners will be able to reply to messages directly from their smartwatches using voice-to-text by speaking to their wrists. Well, Mojis are finally live in version 6.4 of Skype, and they’re being accompanied with a more functional feature for Android Wear users. Incoming calls can be declined or accepted, and users can hold Skype conversations the old-fashioned way – by using microphones, headphones, or wireless Bluetooth speakers or headsets. During a call, you can tap into your Android Wear watch to mute, pause, hang up or switch to a different incoming call.
