Skype is getting big boost from Cortana and Tay-like bot messaging
Microsoft is preparing a new feature for Windows 10 that will let Android phone users view their notifications and respond to text messages right from the desktop, reports The Verge.

Microsoft is rolling out an “anniversary update” for Windows 10 this summer, and among other things, it’ll include an updated Action Center for notifications and settings.
Gone are the days of receiving the same notification on your phone and PC, and having to dismiss them individually. The update will bring a lot of improvements to Windows 10, including merging the Xbox One Store and the Windows 10 Store, improved ink sensors, additional HoloLens features, and more.
It appears that only a limited, curated set of UWP apps will be available at first, with further apps eventually being added to the list. This is something very interesting and foreseen by the company and might tilt more users to upgrade from older Windows variant. “At Microsoft, we call this Conversations-as-a-Platform, and it builds on and extends the power of the Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and Windows platforms to empower developers everywhere”, Nadella said.
The software company also unveiled “Bots for Skype” to help people search for information and content through the app’s messaging functions.
This improved and new Action Center UI will sync to the cloud, plugging Cortana notification mirroring into Android’s notification listener, and then sending these to your Windows 10 PC.
Microsoft announced at Build last night that all future Forza games will be coming to both Xbox One and PC.
The Skype Bots is coming soon for iOS, Android, as well as Windows users.
The conference, runs through tomorrow at the Moscone Center, gives developers a chance to sample the latest tools and technologies and learn to be more creative and productive, Microsoft said.

But the biggest news from the Build 2016 keynote was undoubtedly Microsoft’s work on bots.
