Talks between two cricket boards for future plans already failed on October 19 because of threats by Shiv Sena and their entrance into Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in Mumbai when talk between Pakistani and Indian official was in process.

Shaharyar said on his return from India on Wednesday that Pakistan’s participation in the World T20 next year in India depended on what sort of response the Indian Board gave over the next week or so to the series in December.

The PCB chief said the board would be required to go the government and seek their permission for the ICC government. You have seen the situation there.

He said he can not understand what the problem with India is, as the series is to take place in the UAE and not in Pakistan. We will not have enough security there. “And when you close the doors to art you open up a door for dark and unwanted things to come in”, he told Times Of India.

“India hasn’t confirmed or said anything but are delaying it. We will have to decide that this series can not happen, and after that we will decide what our policy is”.

PCB Chairman Shaharyar Khan on Thursday sent a letter to his Indian counterpart expressing disappointment at the treatment meted out to his delegation, which visited Mumbai this week for talks over the possibility of an Indo-Pak bilateral cricket series in December.
