Slipknot Frontman Guest-Starring on Doctor Who
This just leaves the odd tortured alien scream for Taylor to provide, who tweeted about the fact, saying it had been quite a tiresome chore not telling anyone his incredible piece of modern sci-fi trivia. Taylor has grown famous among metal fans for his monstrous, primal roars. It’s his blood-curdling scream that will get major airtime, used for the episode’s villainous monster, the Fisher King.

British website The Mirror reports the appearance culminated when Taylor visited the “Doctor Who” headquarters while being in Cardiff, Wales, for a Slipknot show earlier this year. He has since confirmed the news himself on social media, appearing to be genuinely enthused about the impending revelation of his contribution to the overall terror of the Fisher King.
He’s not kidding about those looks; the Fisher King is seriously one of the most frightening creatures we’ve seen on Doctor Who.
The monster is also voiced by actor/comedian Peter Serafinowicz. Tune in to a new episode of Doctor Who on October. 3 to hear Corey for yourself!

He too has geek-culture street cred, having previously played a giant in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones. Will you be tuning in to hear the scream?
