Slippers created to protect parents from stepping on Lego bricks
Every parent who’s experienced having a Lego stuck like Velcro to your instep knows the swear-word-uttering torture.

Just like tea will never be the same without a biscuit, or Turkey without cranberry sauce, now Lego will never be the same without the slipper. It’s a well known fact that standing on a 4×2 LEGO brick is the same amount of pain you’d feel stepping on an exposed nail.
The toy giant teamed up with a French advertising agency to create and market the Lego-branded slippers.
Even the most delicate-footed soul could march into a child’s bedroom with confidence in a pair of these brightly coloured slippers – but unfortunately availability is limited. Most importantly, they’re packed with padding to protect your tootsies – the save parents the pain of stepping on tiny plastic.
The squared-off slippers are interchangeable between right and left feet, which is handy when you’re fumbling for them in the dark. Want a pair? Move to France, fill out your wish list and hope you’re one of the lucky 1,500.
