The iPhone 6S on the other hand is a no-compromise flagship, so it’s packed full of features, including a larger 4.7-inch screen with innovative pressure-sensitive 3D Touch smarts. It is a first look at the iPhone SE, iPad Pro and the new Apple Watch. The Apple Watch got a price cut, and will now start at $299, down from $349; it will also come with new wristbands made of woven nylon.

Kiwis can order the new phone from Thursday, 24 March, with availability beginning 31 March. In other scenarios as well the iPhone SE is listed to last the same as, and in many cases longer than, the iPhone 6. But most importantly, size does matter in the case of the iPhone SE and if you’re trying to avoid stuffing a brick into the pocket of your skinny jeans, this is probably the new phone for you.
If the iPhone SE is a success (and if the 5S was still doing that well despite its age, the SE nearly certainly will be), the same thing is likely to happen.
The device is aimed at consumers who are yet to upgrade to the bigger-screen iPhone 6 models that have been introduced over the past two years. Features include support for iTouch and Apple Pay.

The starting price is well below the US$649 (RM2,619) for the current top iPhone model without a contract, which is beyond the reach of many.
