Small Plane Crashes Into Home in Indiana, 2 People Hurt
A plane crashed into a home in North Terre Haute, Indiana Thursday night.

WTWO-TV reports two people taken from the plane were taken to the hospital via helicopter. They could not say if O’Neill was in the plane at the time of the crash.
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) – A small plane slammed into a home near a western IN airport, injuring two people on the aircraft.
Pathologist Patrick O’Neill and anesthesiologist John Trump were both flown from the crash scene to receive trauma care for critical injuries. Both are doctors at the hospital.
The single-engine Cessna plane slammed into the house Thursday in northern Vigo County.
Police said no one was at home at the time of the incident, except for a small dog who emerged unharmed.
The crash left the plane’s nose embedded in the roof, with the wings vertical to the ground.

Vigo County Sheriff Greg Ewing returned to the scene this morning in the 3100 block of East Rosehill Avenue in North Terre Haute.
