Before taking home her first-ever Emmy, for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series for “Inside Amy Schumer”, Amy chatted with “Extra’s” Mario Lopez about the best night of her life… which involved Madonna!
“Thanks everybody who helped me”, she said, “The girl who gave me this smoky eye (makeup)”.
Later, on the red carpet, Amy was joined by her sister Kim Caramele in a custom Zac Posen number of her very own. And, last month, she was the night’s biggest victor at the TV Critics Association Awards, nabbing Individual Achievement in Comedy, while Inside Amy Schumer was crowned Outstanding Achievement in Comedy.
Yep, Amy did Emmys beauty exactly the way her fans would expect: with fierce honesty, a dirty joke about her ladyparts, and a whole lot of heart.

On how she’ll celebrate: “I think you know how I’ll be celebrating tonight”. “I nearly made a stupid sex talk show that nobody wanted”, Schumer said in her acceptance speech, giving credit to the show’s head writer Jessi Klein who recently had a baby.
