USA Today Sports reports that Williams is putting his time with Woods on blast with the book as he voiced how the golf star treated him like a “slave” at times during their storied partnership.

The New Zealander accompanied Woods to 13 major titles in the 13 years they worked together.
Williams said he didn’t consider quitting as Woods’ caddie “as I felt incredibly loyal to Tiger – this was the toughest time of his life and I wasn’t going to ditch him”.
“One thing that really p***** me off was how he would flippantly toss a club in the general direction of the bag, expecting me to go over and pick it up”. As a matter of fact, they’ve been quite close to a point that Woods served as Williams’ best man in his wedding. During that time, Woods made in excess of $70 million in official earnings on the PGA Tour, of which Williams conservatively could have been expected to be paid more than $6 million, depending on their arrangement. “Big books, they want to promote them and they pick out the most inflammatory statements they can”.
Haney contended that Williams, a native of New Zealand, published his book in his home country to get around a non-disclosure agreement he signed that prohibited him from writing or talking about Woods.
“He’s on bed rest and we don’t know when he’s going to come back”, Haney said about Woods, according to Golfweek.
“Tiger finally rang me on March 23”.
Woods underwent an October 28 procedure to relieve discomfort from his second microdiscectomy, which he had in September. And to quote Neil, “This book was an opportunity to reveal a lot to golf fans; not just about Tiger Woods, but also by documenting a long tenure looping alongside a handful of golf greats that, besides Woods, included Raymond Floyd, Greg Norman and Adam Scott”.

Tiger had taken an indefinite break from golf and I had no idea when he’d be back – or if I’d be working for him again.
“The other thing that disgusted me was his habit of spitting at the hole if he missed a putt”, he continues.

When Tiger was found out, it made Williams life hard as well because people assumed he was involved with it so to speak.
