Sneaky Pete Preview: Building a Bigger Lie
The show centers on a con man who steals his cellmate’s identity when he’s released from prison. With such a great cast and an interesting set-up, it’s hard to see “Sneaky Pete” not getting the greenlight. However, unlike Walter White (Bryan’s iconic role on Breaking Bad), this time his character’s moral integrity seems to be way less ambiguous. The blooming streaming service picked it up in June for series consideration with some further tweaks and reshoots.

The pilot will stream on Amazon Prime Instant, where viewers can vote on whether it should be made into a full series. The premise was developed by Shore and Cranston after Cranston’s Emmy speech, encouraging the Sneaky Petes of the world to turn their life around. A first trailer for the Cranston-produced “Sneaky Pete” has just dropped and it looks dark and incredible.

He soon moves in with Pete’s family and is forced to take part in their bail bond business, where he has to take down cons worse than him. But the thing is Sneaky Pete has a drive and certain panache, especially from Ribisi and Martindale, which makes it intriguing.
