Snedeker eager to play first tournament as two-time champion

After the rare 56-hole cut narrows the field down to 60 pros and 25 player-amateur teams (you can find the complete list of teams here), players will play the final round back at Pebble Beach.

Defending champion Brandt Snedeker and Jordan Spieth headline a strong field at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, which starts on Thursday.

Jordan Spieth watches his tee shot on the second hole on the Pebble Beach Golf Links during the final round of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am on Saturday Feb. 15, 2015, in Pebble Beach, Calif.

Spieth still talks of Woods with exceeding reverence, even though while playing at Torrey Pines in 2014 with Tiger as his playing partner, he shot a 63 while his idol shot 71.

Having retired in the summer of 2000 during the week of the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, Young was the most sought-out former or current athlete that took part in the event. What comes to mind first?

If your interest in golf is in the longest drives, the latest in fashion or something in between, Mesa’s Longbow Golf Club is the place to be Friday and Saturday for the return of Golf Fest Phoenix.

“But those people don’t know me”.

Which course holds the most opportunity for scoring and is the key? “Definitely better looking than Jake”. But Spyglass may allow you to separate yourself. “It makes you appreciate some of these other guys who have gone before you and have been able to do it”. Monterey Peninsula is most exposed to the wind. Well, you picked right time to join.

Well, he’s world-weary, and he’s a lot smarter because he’s already said he’s not doing that again.

“But I would rather take a win and us get second than us win and me get second”. Oh yeah, those two major titles before turning 22. He does everything really well, but he is phenomenal with the putter. “I’m like, ‘You’re 98 yards out in the middle of the fairway.’ Without missing a beat, he just steps up, hits the shot in the air”. We’ll see how he handles them. The price point is extremely high, but Snedeker is undoubtedly worth it this week for our golf DraftKings lineup.

He just won on poa greens (at the Farmers Insurance Open) and in very windy conditions, so he is playing well. His ball striking was obviously very good, but he was 14 for 14 on putts inside of 10 feet on those greens in that wind.

“I was so mad at myself when we lost to Texas and I lost to Jordan”, he said. But winning one major does not make Day want the next major win any less.

With Snedeker and Walker locked in as our top two picks at a combined $21.8K, there is no way that we could complete our lineup without some excellent value options beginning with Knost. He’s still the number two player in the world and he still Jason day.

Phil Mickelson is sure to be another popular player with both the galleries and punters as he seeks a fifth title at the tournament. Which golfers should you put your money on this weekend? He’s played well here, he hasn’t won in a while, he’s working on a new swing… it would be interesting to see what he can do this week.

As for being the top-rated golfer in the world, he’s having fun with it, not wearing it around his neck like an anvil. AT&T will continue to promote details about the bobblehead on its social channels throughout the tournament. He’s a fan of all Cleveland professional sports teams, the poor fellow.
