According to the report, the dog, said to be called as Koda, was searching for some illegal things, when the dog found something (later confirmed as cocaine) which he inhaled accidentally.
He was then immediately taken to emergency veterinary clinic, where the doctors confirmed the presence of drugs.
Fortunately, it didn’t make any harmful effect and the dog came back to work just next day of the incident.
A spokesman from the police department said later “While every effort is made to ensure the safety of the canines, the discovery of suspected drugs can lead to this situation”.
