‘SNL’ goes after Trump and bombshell dossier

The first half of the cold open mocked Trump and the unverified dossier released last week that alleged Trump hired Russian prostitutes to urine on a hotel bed once slept in by President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama.

Trump/Baldwin then went immediately to questions from reporters, the first of whom asked about the “big Donald Trump pee pee party”. That lets Baldwin split for the evening, and Trump can get in his weekly post-SNL tweetstorm right off the bat. “And then, two months later, Mike Pence will become the 46th”.

Speaking of January 20, he addressed the talent (or lack thereof) lined up for the big day. “And best of all we’ve got the one Rockette with the least money in her savings”.

“We also have some big A-list actors like Angelina Jolie, Ryan Gosling and Jennifer Lawrence”, Baldwin continued.

The sketch also went straight for toilet humor – a nod to the bombshell report that Russian Federation has compromising personal and financial information on Trump. “I want to talk about what is really important, which is jobs”.

Over at SNL early this morning, Alex Baldwin took another spin around the set as Donald Trump, and after he took his turn speaking at a spoof replay of last week’s presser, it was all yellow.

Five days until the inauguration, and Saturday Night Live is still not holding back. Thank you all for peeing here, I mean for p***ing here, I mean for being here, ‘ Trump stuttered. And you want to know why? The biggest, strongest, steadiest stream.

Kenan’s Steve said, “I do government now!” He says he will continue to play Trump on the late-night comedy show while also looking for other opportunities to spoof the incoming Republican president. Country singer Sturgill Simpson, 38, is also set to perform a few jams as the musical guest, meaning it’s going to be a show to remember. Their role is so unique that the guidelines for satirizing them are completely undefined, but it’s their own actions going forward that will define what’s acceptable when it comes to the Trump children.
