Snoop Dogg’s son leaves UCLA football again
Broadus said he planned to study film at UCLA at the time of his initial departure from football.

Snoop Dogg’s son Cordell Broadus, a former high school football standout who quit the UCLA football team last August after committing to play at the school in February 2015, has reportedly chose to quit again after vowing to return to the team in March. Bruins coach Jim Mora said Broadus is pursuing other passions, per Lindsey Thiry of The Los Angeles Times. “It will be fun to watch what he does with his life”.
Many people will view Broadus’ decision with contempt, especially when thousands of young men would give nearly anything for any college scholarship, yet alone one at a big-time school like UCLA. The show was titled, “Snoop & Son: A Dad’s Dream”.
In an emotional Instagram post previous year, Broadus said: “I played football for my father because I thought that was the only way he would love me & be apart of my life”. He later admitted that he only played football to get his father to love him. Back in March, he re-joined the program, saying he missed the game. “The best day of my life was when I heard those exact words”.
Broadus did not report to training camp as a freshman a year ago but returned to the team for spring practice as a walk-on player.

Honestly, Broadus’ decision makes total sense. Simply, WR Cordell Broadus, son of rapper Snoop Dogg, was not on it.
