Snow and sub-zero temperatures on their way, warn
Boro fans will have to wrap up warm for Friday night’s match – with snow and blizzard conditions expected to hit Teesside.

Temperatures will drop to as low as -4C on Saturday.
A Met Office spokeswoman said: “There’s a big change on the way”.
The weather station at Waddington recorded a temperature of 14.8c on Monday, November 9 – the highest it’s been on a November night since November 3, 1969, when it was 14.4c.
Snow is notoriously hard to forecast in the United Kingdom because temperatures are often marginal, with half a degree making all the difference as to whether rain, sleet or snow falls.
Between 1-5cm of snow is expected to fall on lower levels, with 5-10cm on higher ground.
“It will also be feeling colder from a stiff northerly wind”.
The Met Office has issued a snow warning for North West England for Friday and Saturday this week.
“The snow will mainly affect high ground at first but will fall to lower levels on Friday night”, reads the warning.
As a result, people are being warned there could be “difficult driving conditions and a few travel disruption”.

This first proper wintry spell of the season is only expected to last until early next week, with temperatures returning to average – although not as mild as what we’ve had so far this November.
