Snow possible in parts of Alabama on Friday
Then tomorrow morning, sleet will be likely before transitioning to rain and snow between 1 and 4 p.m. Tomorrow’s high will be near 36 degrees.

Sleet and freezing rain could hit parts of SC and North Carolina early Friday morning, but early projections show Myrtle Beach and Horry County to be outside the freeze line.
A storm system to our south will spread more moisture our way Thursday night.
It’s the back side of that storm that will bring the potential for snow to Alabama. Colder air rushes in, turning much of this to ice and snow before midnight Friday for Poinsett Co., Cross Co. and areas in the Bootheel.
South Alabama will only get rain, but things could get interesting in north and central Alabama.
Some light snow could be possible into Saturday, the weather service said.
There’s a chance of more rain or snow in the area Friday, Humphrey said, but after that the weekend looks clear, sunny and cool.
The weather service says up to one-tenth of an inch of ice could accumulate in the extreme northeast corner of the state.
The latest data indicates the heaviest snow amounts may fall southeast of I-30 & I-40, southeast of Little Rock.
