Snow showers possible tonight, then a chilly, windy day tomorrow

Wednesday night, expect mostly cloudy skies, with a low of 20. But before we get to that, we need to be aware of possible snow showers in the early morning hours that could make roads slippery for the commute tomorrow morning. North wind 6 to 13 miles per hour. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25.

Wednesday night…Mostly cloudy. Lows zero to 5 above. Temperatures will drop to lows in the single numbers for both Saturday and Sunday mornings. West winds 10 to 15 miles per hour shifting to the northwest after midnight. This means the snow shower activity will wrap up, but the lake effect snow in our northern counties could last into Wednesday. Most of us are won’t see a big warm up for the day…with highs only reaching the upper 30s to mid 40s which isn’t too far off of where we started.

WednesdaySunny, with a high near 51. North northwest wind 5 to 10 miles per hour becoming light north northeast after midnight. Partly cloudy with Sierra highs in the 50s. Highs near 72 in the valley and near 60 in the Sierra. Highs will be in the upper 50s.

Snow showers, especially north. Mainly cloudy.
