So which `Friends` character did Jane Krakowski auditioned for?
Speaking on the red carpet at last night’s Emmy Awards (check out all the gossip and photos here!), Jane told E!

Krakowski was nominated for the Emmy forOutstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role of Jacqueline Voorhees on “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt“. Even though she hasn’t won, Krakowski’s characters are fan-favorites. Say what?! Now we know that other people had to have auditioned for the role, but we seriously can’t imagine anyone other than Jen An as Rachel Green.
“I, like nearly every actor in the world, auditioned for Friends“, the 46-year-old actress said on Sunday, September 20. Obviously the role went to Jennifer Aniston, but Krakowski still wishes she had gotten the part. It could have happened if this “30 Rock” star had landed the role.
Despite her accomplished career, Krakowski admitted at least one person in her camp is still upset she didn’t land the Rachel gig. You’ve heard of that one, right? “I actually auditioned for Rachel, and I didn’t go very far”.

And Sarah Michelle Gellar – not Alicia Silverstone – was the first choice to play Cher Horowitz in classic 90s film Clueless.
