The couple got engaged in December 2014, and began dating earlier that year.

Although the couple’s official representative is yet to confirm the wedding, the constant Instagram feed from the actress and her guests made it clear that she had indeed said “I do” as planned.

The couple also recited their own vows. Speaking about the ceremony Ed O’Neill, who plays her on-screen husband, said “It should be fun, there’ll be a few travel involved…she knows how [throw a party]!” This comes as no surprise as Sofia has admitted that her favourite food is cake.

The “Modern Family” star then playfully rebutted that she is beyond “Bridezilla”: “I think I’m beyond that, I have very good memory”. I’m 43, I don’t really need to look like a virgin getting married.

Sofia confessed in an interview before, “I didn’t want to go out with him for a long time because I thought he was too good-looking”, adding, “Like, it’s too much work, and I’m older”.
