The 30-year-old singer-songwriter took to Twitter to share an interaction she had with a group of “4 white women” at a Kraftwerk concert at Orpheum Theater in New Orleans on Friday night.

Knowles’ tweets chronicled her experience going to a predominantly white Kraftwerk concert in which she had something thrown at her and was told to sit down by white concert-goers.
In her explanation, she detailed just why Black people don’t feel safe in white spaces and why Black women are justifiably perceived as “angry” as times.
She sets the scene at a concert, where her and her family were in the minority of attendees.

Knowles began the tweet series at around 9 p.m. Friday, when she said a group of four women-all white women, Knowles said-singled her out among a crowd of an estimated 1,500 concertgoers and demanded she and her family sit down. “Now back to me & my husbands favorite song “Autobahn” she wrote.
Solange claims the women threw something at her back, which she says her son later “confirmed it was a lime”. They yell, “u need to sit down now”…
Knowles points out that when black citizens are just trying to have a good time like everybody else, it’s often labeled as creating drama..
After speaking out on the issue, Knowles was about to move on and enjoy the rest of the show.

She also wrote that she was not “giving a f**k about you lovely ladies so mad this lil black girl having fun”.
