Solo comes up big for 200th cap, US beats France 1-0
We just hope all the booing doesn’t get to her head and start causing losses for the USA soccer team!

Yet, all in all, do you agree or disagree with Hope Solo?
Intensity this team is looking to unleash on the world at the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
Apparently whoever writes the scripts for soccer figured we haven’t had a Hope Solo controversy in a while. The league has until December 31 to come to an agreement with the team, which might not be likely, as the league says the women’s claims are unfounded because their salaries are paid under a different collective bargaining agreement than the men’s.
It’s something Solo already knows a lot about. It’s good to see that Solo is staying positive around the whole ordeal and not letting the booing affect her game!
The Americans are trying to become the first team to win the Olympics after succeeding at the World Cup. The U.S. team however, is used to being booed when playing in other countries, so that is not foreign to them said Ellis. A position she didn’t like at all as a kid.
Solo, 35, in her 200th career appearance for the US, was targeted every time she touched the ball during a 1-0 victory against France at the Estadio Mineirao in Belo Horizonte, in what was expected to be the team’s toughest test in Group G of the 12-team’s tournament.
“I normally don’t pay attention to what’s happening in the stand because I’m so focused on the game”, Solo added. And then at the exact moment Solo sent the ball upfield… “And I expect no less here”. She stayed in the top spot as her competitors fell off in the new-to-the-Olympics elimination finals, consistently hitting 10s despite a fan blowing an air horn at random times.
– Hope Solo (@hopesolo) July 22, 2016What is Zika? She played every minute and won another Golden Glove trophy thanks to five shutouts en route to her first World Cup title. “And that’s to be goalkeeper for the United States and play the best that she can”.
“It’s a little bit unfortunate because I think the American media has been really tough on people of Brazil”, she reportedly said.
Two years later, Solo was arrested and charged with assault against her half-sister and nephew.

“I think that’s something hopefully they will put behind them and realise that Hope has apologised to the Brazilian people”.
