The Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen will investigate Iran’s accusation, said coalition spokesman Brigadier General Ahmed Asseri, according to Reuters.

“Iran holds the government of Saudi Arabia responsible for this act and wounding of a number of embassy staff and damages made to its building”, Ansari was quoted as saying by the website of the state-run IRIB network.
Iran is accusing Saudi Arabia of “intentionally” attacking its embassy in Yemen as relations between the two Middle East powers continue to deteriorate.
Asseri said coalition jets targeted Houthi missile launchers in Sanaa on Wednesday night.
“Saudi Arabia has moved against our efforts and they opposed the nuclear agreement, in line with the Zionist regime”, Zarif said, referring to Israel, and Iran s deal previous year with world powers over its atomic programme.
Joining Riyadh and its Sunni Arab allies in taking diplomatic action, Kuwait said it was withdrawing its envoy over a weekend attack on the Saudi embassy in Tehran. Bahrain and Sudan followed suit and severed ties with Iran, while the United Arab Emirates downgraded it.
The last time the Iranian government suspended its citizens from making the Hajj was in 1987 after 400 pilgrims, mostly Iranians, were killed by Saudi security forces during a demonstration against the United States.
The Associated Press reported that an AP correspondent in Sanaa could see no damage to the embassy.
The Iranian president stressed that his country is seeking good relations with its neighbors, including Saudi Arabia.
Hundreds of protesters have gathered outside the Saudi Arabian embassy in Canberra angered by the execution of cleric Nimr Baqr al-Nimr, who was critical of the kingdom’s treatment of its Shiite minority.

Also yesterday, Iran banned all products from Saudi Arabia and said a ban on Iranians travelling to the Saudi holy city of Mecca for the umrah pilgrimage would remain in place “until further notice”.
