Trump won in three vital states including North Carolina, Illinois, and Florida, but Governor John Kasich took away his home state, OH with what would be his debut victory since the start of the campaign period.

“On Feb. 20, the Republican National Committee announced that a GOP presidential primary debate would be held on March 21 in Salt Lake City”, the network said in a written statement.
Despite the deep concerns about Trump within the Republican Party, there has been no rush among party leaders or donors to coalesce around Ted Cruz, the only candidate in the race with even a long-shot chance of overtaking Trump in the delegate count.

The Times said California is “winnable” for Trump although “it could be a hard state for him” since America’s most populous state “includes a mix of well-educated voters who could support Kasich and conservative voters who could support Cruz”.
Cruz’s state director, Constantin Querard, downplayed Arizona’s importance Thursday even as he said Utah and Arizona have the potential to “reset the race” as a two-person contest. “I’m representing a tremendous many, many millions of people”.
Meanwhile, Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton set her sights on a November showdown with Trump. Also, Wisconsin delegates are required to file affidavits with the state Republican Party promising to abide by the rules.
The only other time Kasich has gone out of his way to blast Trump was last week, after Trump canceled a rally in Chicago amid fears that scuffles between his supporters and protesters would turn violent.
Sean Spicer, the RNC’s communications director and chief strategist, said in an interview with CNN on Wednesday that he assumed Trump was “speaking figuratively”.
The billionaire businessman is now the only candidate with a path to clinching the Republican nomination before the party’s convention in July.
The cards are stacked against the citizens of the United States having their wishes, as expressed by their vote, actually honored by the delegates at the convention. But as I’ve argued repeatedly, Trump is going to become a different candidate once the general election comes.
