At a rally in Charlotte, N.C., Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said on Thursday that sometimes he hasn’t chosen the right words to say and said that he regretted causing “personal pain”. “Particularly, where it may have caused personal pain”.

He added that, “Too much is at stake for us to be consumed with these issues”. “But one thing I will tell you this, I will always tell the truth”.
Trump’s standing in the White House race plummeted throughout the summer and he now trails Clinton in preference polls of most key battleground states.
Trump also made a major appeal to the African-American voters, telling them that they have nothing to lose by choosing him, “We are going to reject bigotry and I will tell you the bigotry of Hillary Clinton is incredible, she sees communities of color only as votes and not as human beings. She’s been there forever, and look at where you are”.
Mr Trump’s new campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, promised on Thursday he would stick to a more disciplined and uplifting message to voters in the final dash to Election Day without crimping his freewheeling style. “It has to be about issues”, said Conway, a veteran Republican operative with a reputation as a more pragmatic data-driven analyst who aims to broaden Trump’s appeal to women and independent voters.
Trump told supporters in Charlotte he would “speak the truth” on behalf of Americans who have lost jobs and been failed by government run by “insiders” who only look out for themselves.
Conway downplayed the notion of internal dissent at campaign headquarters at Trump Tower, telling The Associated Press the staffing changes are “an expansion at a critical time in the homestretch”.
Opening his speech with a discussion of the devastating flooding in Louisiana, Trump said, “I hope everyone in Louisiana knows that our country is praying for them and standing with them in these hard hours”.
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s lead over her Republican rival Donald Trump has narrowed to 4 points, according to a new nationwide poll.
“We’re going to make sure Donald Trump is comfortable about being in his own skin, that he doesn’t lose that authenticity that you simply can’t buy and a pollster can’t give you”.
Trump stressed that his administration would create a “new American Future”. But Trump appeared to be referring to comments he made Wednesday in an interview on Fox News. He went on to say that multiple people in the crowd pointed him out to Trump campaign staffers. “One more reason she can never, ever be allowed to be president”.
“I will not rest until children of every colour in this country are fully included in the American Dream”, he said, urging African-American voters to give him a chance.
“We learned tonight that his speechwriter and teleprompter knows he has much for which he should apologise”. Hamid told CBS News that she came to the rally to “try to build bridges” with Trump’s base and that Trump’s supporters asked “great questions”. Trump supported the Brexit movement and suggested it was “the people taking the country back”.
“If I had to do it again, I wouldn’t have sent it”, Trump said.

“I think the regime wanted him to say it”. John McCain’s five-and-a-half years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam last summer – “I like people that weren’t captured”, he said – Trump declined.
