Son of man charged in Kentucky girl’s death arrested

The oldest son of a man charged with raping and killing a 7-year-old Kentucky girl whose body was found in a creek has been arrested for allegedly making threats to a small-town police department after his father was taken into custody.

Bradley Madden, 20, was booked in the Macon County Jail on a warrant issued by the Scottsville Police Department.

Madden was brought back to the Allen County Jail Tuesday morning.

Madden was arrested Friday by Kentucky State Police.

Timothy Madden, is charged with the murder, kidnapping, first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy in the death of seven-year-old Gabriella Doolin.

The mother, Amy Doolin, broke down in tears Monday as Madden walked into the courtroom, where each of the charges he now faces was read aloud in front of him.

Madden’s mother-in-law, Linda King, said Monday that Madden was shooting a video of the game and that as the father of five children – who range in age from 4 months to 20 years old – there is no way he could have hurt someone else’s child.

Madden posted an apology on his Facebook page on Monday evening.

Not guilty pleas were automatically entered by the judge, due to the felony charges. He is being held on $1 million full cash bond. A preliminary hearing was set for December 2. His attorney, Travis Lock, said it was too early in the case to discuss any evidence.

‘Simply put, we do not know what the evidence is that the commonwealth believes they have’.

Gabbi was found dead on November 14.

Manual strangulation and drowning were listed as the cause of death, and an autopsy indicated Gabbi was raped and sodomized, according to police records. “I feel sorry for them, but it wasn’t me”. “I feel sorry for them, but it wasn’t me”, he told WDRB in a jailhouse interview.
