Speculations suggest that the PS4 Neo, as well as the PS4 Slim, will be unveiled on September 7. The latter has been leaked in photos.

In the interview with Financial Times, House announced last June that Sony is already developing a high-end PS4 for hardcore gamers who are clamoring for a 4K TV-capable game console with enhanced and magnificent graphics. PS4 Neo will also have higher bandwidth on memory at 218 GB per second (176 GB per second for the current PS4).

The PlayStation Neo is rumoured to be a 4K (Ultra HD resolution) console and not just for video playback such as Netflix like on the Xbox One S. It will support 4K gaming, making it the first console to offer the feature and better rival PCs.
