Not only is the base PS4 console having a price drop, this includes special game bundles too. The 500GB Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection bundle will now retail for $349.99 when it launches on Friday with the game.

The Limited Edition Star Wars Battlefront PS4 Bundle and Star Wars Battlefront PS4 Bundle will both be available come November. 17. If youve been eyeing the Limited Edition Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 1TB model, then you can now expect to drop $429.99. They are now sold for $399.99 and C$449.99, respectively. The only way we’ll know for sure on that is if Microsoft were to offer a price drop of their own, say $51? You can get the console bundle at the newly discounted price and relive the classic action-adventure, for those who haven’t played the game before, now is your chance.

So why did Sony cut its price?

Yu Okazaki, an analyst at Nomura Securities, said, “This is good news because it shows cutting assembling cost of the console is going smoothly”. This move puts the PS4 on the same pace as the Xbox One, as Microsoft had recently presented more Xbox One bundles with the upcoming holiday games.

That goes especially for the PlayStation 4, where local currency exchange rates and hefty import fees on consumer electronics has made the huge Brazilian market the most expensive country in which to buy Sony’s console.

PS4 fans overseas should note that Sony hasn’t introduced a PS4 price cut in all regions.
