First up is Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, a four-player co-op title that’s an excellent action-puzzler. This may have irked some gamers who feel it’s time developers stopped creating cross-gen games, but hey, a skating game doesn’t have to be totally next-gen, right?
On the PS3 side, there is the latest game from Santa Monica’s God of War Series; God of War: Ascension. It’s been six months since Kratos’ wife and child died by his own hand and he’s battling insanity. Since then it has been ported to numerous other platforms which include PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iOS, and Google Inc.’s (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android, among others. You play as a clone trying to escape and sinister and high-tech testing facility.
The PS4 price is still stuck at $399, which is $50 more than the base Xbox One, but there is definitely a lot of value in the PS4 and there are some options to get a free game or two when you upgrade that will help with the higher price.
Similarly, PS Plus subscribers in the US will get Q-Games’ Sound Shapes for the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, while its replacement title in Europe will be thatgamecompany’s Flower as a cross-buy title for the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita. Sound Shapes isn’t only a totally novel game that melds unlikely components together, it’s also successful at trying something new and different.

They can also score Limbo, as the classic side-scrolling indie experience is available on the PS4 platform.
