Sony’s noise cancelling PS4 headset due in December
This is a wired a headset with inline mic mute and volume controls (wired to the DS4).

Naturally, this 3.5mm headset can be used with the Vita, the Xperia, or just about anything else with a standard headphone jack (like the new Xbox One controllers).
This wired In-ear Stereo headset features noise reducing AudioShield technology, which restricts unwanted sound from the environment around you – meaning every journey, from epic gaming adventures to your daily commute, becomes free from unwanted noise and distraction.
There’s also a built-in microphone that enables users to chat with their friends on Playstation 4, and can also double as a microphone for taking calls on a smartphone. While Sony has released headsets for the PS4 before, this is the first in-ear headset for PS4 from the company. It can be charged and the headset will provide up to 15 hours of use on a single charge, the headset can be juiced up using the USB cable that’s supplied with the headset. All those features do come with a price though, as the headset will be priced at £78/€90 (or roughly $120).
Personally, I find noise-cancelling headsets to be useful in airports and airplanes, not so much with game consoles.
