Meanwhile, Sony India recently revealed that its flagship smartphone product line, including the Sony Xpeira Z4 Dual and the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Dual, will be released in the region starting Nov.7.
Sony’s handset business unit posted a loss of JPY220.4 billion in fiscal 2014 (from April 2014 to March 2015).
The Xperia Z5 Premium will carry a starting price of NT$25,900 (US$798.86), higher than any other Sony Mobile phone since Sony acquired shares of Swedish telecommunications equipment maker Ericsson in the joint venture between the two companies in 2012. Only those having the white edition are experiencing the problem, while other colour variants function normally. Considering the festive season in India, Sony is also offering deals and offers on both devices: ·Both Xperia Z5 and Z5 Premium, come with a Sony Quick Charger (UCH10) which according to Sony enables 5.5 hours usage with just 10 minutes of charging. The Xperia Z5 will be available from October 23 while Xperia Z5 Premium will hit the market by November 7. Sony considers the Xperia Z5 as their best camera phone as its 23MP primary shooter and 5.1MP selfie snapper bring innovative features to the world of smartphone photography. The handset is also water-resistant and dust tight with IP65 and IP68 certification and a system that runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. As for the memory, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset paired with 2 GB of RAM.
