Sony: Uncharted Collection Is A Legit PS4 System-Seller
Each Uncharted game was a technical benchmark for the PS3, and now The Nathan Drake Collection is one of the best-looking games on PS4 due to the remaster treatment.

Could the price cut be announced at the Paris Game Show later this month where Sony has a significant presence? What you get from The Nathan Drake Collection (beta access aside) is technically improved versions of Uncharted 1-3: “Drake’s Fortune” (2007), “Among Thieves” (2009), and “Drake’s Deception” (2011). Critics have praised the enhanced visuals and higher frame rate.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection launches on PS4 tomorrow, October 9.
There’s more than meets the eye to Activision’s latest Transformers game.
It’s also significantly more cartoony than the following games, which nearly forgives how dissonant the narrative characterization is with the actual guy you play during the game (more on that in a bit).
The collection has indeed been well-received, and at the time of writing has a Metacritic score of 86.
Sony has revealed that the PlayStation 4 is dropping in price in the United States with a few new bundles for the holidays.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection aims to capitalize on that market.
With graphics upgraded to 1080p and 60 fps, the Uncharted Collection looks incredible with a painstaking restoration that comes close to matching The Last of Us‘ PS4 port earlier this year.
“I do, personally, expect the Uncharted Collection to do as well as The Last of Us Remastered…”
Our goal at PlayStation has always been to provide the best gameplay experiences at the best value, and we feel this new compelling price will open the doors to even more gamers that have yet to purchase a system.
“This is genuinely something that players want in anticipation of the launch of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End in March 2016″.
Naughty Dog recently revamped their Uncharted series for the PS 4. The last chapter of Nathan Drake’s story will be coming next year.

That’s according to PlayStation United Kingdom product manager Joe Palmer, who believes the compilation alone could be justified as a “system seller”. “We could go back to Jak and Daxter 4 if it seems right, or there could be something else in the future on our horizon”.
