Each Uncharted game was a technical benchmark for the PS3, and now The Nathan Drake Collection is one of the best-looking games on PS4 due to the remaster treatment.

What you get from The Nathan Drake Collection (beta access aside) is technically improved versions of Uncharted 1-3: “Drake’s Fortune” (2007), “Among Thieves” (2009), and “Drake’s Deception” (2011). Critics have praised the enhanced visuals and higher frame rate.

With graphics upgraded to 1080p and 60 fps, the Uncharted Collection looks incredible with a painstaking restoration that comes close to matching The Last of Us‘ PS4 port earlier this year.

Naughty Dog recently revamped their Uncharted series for the PS 4. The last chapter of Nathan Drake’s story will be coming next year.

That’s according to PlayStation United Kingdom product manager Joe Palmer, who believes the compilation alone could be justified as a “system seller”. “We could go back to Jak and Daxter 4 if it seems right, or there could be something else in the future on our horizon”.
