A major upcoming game this Holiday season will be supporting Sony’s upcoming PlayStation 4 Pro console- Respawn‘s Vince Zampella has confirmed on Twitter that the eagerly anticipated sequel to the 2014 Xbox and PC exclusive hit shooter will be supporting Sony’s updated PlayStation 4.
Xbox One S is about 40% smaller in size than the base Xbox One and it also comes with full HDR and 4K UltraHD Blu-ray video support.
Ito: It will be different for each title. “I believe it will depend on the thinking of each licensee”, referring to third-party publishers. But when Game Impress Watch asked him to clarify whether the same would be true for games published by Sony, Ito said so, telling the site, “I think it will vary for each one of our titles”.
Game Impress Watch: What you’re saying is that there will be titles that have a fee [for the patch] and [patches for the] titles that are free.
Now we know why Sony didn’t add Blu-Ray support to PS4 Pro.
Ito: Right. The first party titles we put out are going to certainly support both [4K and HDR].
