Those on PlayStation 4 will get early access to the game’s beta beginning February 12, with six bonus in-game contracts set to release exclusively for Sony’s hardware.
Barbour adds, “The structure is inspired by contemporary TV series’ and will unfold over multiple seasons”.
While no specific details were given as to what the beta will include, Io-Interactive did reveal PlayStation 4 owners will gain exclusive access to The Sarejevo Six.
The Sarajevo Six contracts will form a side-story, separate from the main plot line of Hitman, and will revolve around a revolving around former members of a paramilitary unit called CICADA. Agent 47 will pursue the targets, one of each contract is available in each location of the game. One final easy thing to explain is that all pre-orders will come with the Blood Money Requiem pack, which bundles a chrome weapon, white suit, and explosive rubber duck. Called ‘The Director, ‘ Agent 47 is tasked with assassinating Scott Sarno, Director of European Operations for the CICADA private military corporation. The highly trained and extremely risky target will make for a definite challenge for players, especially if his CICADA agents are nearby. Additional episodes launch every month after March.
