SoundCloud Introduces New Stations Function
SoundCloud continues to evolve as it competes with the other streaming music services in the world. Previous stations can be found under collections in the app. Soundcloud has had a similar feature on the web version of the service for some time, with a series of related tracks instantly playing after your selected track was finished. SoundCloud confirmed the update on its blog stating that “Sit back, tune in and discover”. If you enjoy the mix of music SoundCloud has to offer, you can download the app for Android or iOS now.

Stations can be created from a number of sources. Taking some nods from paid streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music, SoundCloud is looking to simply the user experience while utilizing their massive catalog of music.
A station can be generated from any track, search term, content stream or your Collection.
SoundCloud, the free music service particularly favored by independent and grassroots musicians, has finally added ‘stations, ‘ a sort of never-ending playlist of related tracks and songs. Creating a Station on SoundCloud couldn’t be easier, just open the menu for one of those four bases and select “Start Station” and SoundCloud will generate it’s best recommendations out of their 100 million+ tracks for an endless stream.
