South African ambassador excited about Xi visit
The Chinese President will head to South Africa tomorrow to attend the China-Africa Cooperation summit in Johannesburg.

According to Zimbabwe Power Company (ZPC), the three stations would be located in three provinces of the country, with their contractors and costs being Chint Group, 202 million USA dollars, China No. 17 Metallurgical Construction Ltd., 163 million dollars and ZTE, 197 million dollars respectively.
He called on leaders of African countries to use this opportunity to renew friendship and explore cooperation with China, and chart the course for China-Africa friendly and practical cooperation in various fields. A slew of deals for power plants, infrastructure and agriculture projects are expected to be announced during Xi’s visit to the continent, which houses some of the most impoverished nations in the world.

Xi’s visit can boost the Chinese Dream and Zimbabwe’s dream for corresponding national revivals.
“The visit is just to cement political and economic relations”.
“We also invite our Chinese friends to partner with us in championing development in the continent through new business ventures, infrastructure development, media capacity development and many other areas of mutual interest”.
Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is travelling to South Africa this week, where he will also meet Xi, his office said in a statement. Oranges imported from Africa surged 309 percent, South African wine shipments jumped 84 percent and coffee from Kenya rose 30 percent in the first nine months, Qian said.
Xi is the most prominent leader for many years to visit Zimbabwe – a diplomatic coup for Mugabe who has fostered ties with China since Beijing backed several African movements fighting to end colonial rule. We have also benefitted in the tobacco sector which has been revived with over 800million going into Zimbabwe pockets.
He said both countries share the same development goal.
Speaking after the tour, President Xi urged Zimbabweans and Chinese people not to forget the exploits of the two countries’ national heroes who made the two nations dynamic and what they were today.
