The video which appears on James May’s own YouTube channel shows Clarkson on an office floor attempting put together a DHL flatpack box while his ex-Top Gear colleagues Richard Hammond and May ridicule him.
Chris has been under fire from the media and viewers since the first new episode of Top Gear aired, with negative reviews and disappointing viewing figures.
JEREMY Clarkson has released a freaky advert for DHL boxes, and viewers are arguing that it’s more interesting than the new Top Gear series starring Matt LeBlanc and Chris Evans.
After disastrous ratings, fans of the hit BBC show have called for Chris Evans to be replaced by Jenson Button. Sunday’s second instalment dropped 1.5 million viewers in the overnights to just 2.8 million and a 14% audience share.
While Evans’s hosting style has had a generally poor reception, Top Gear fans have begun to warm to fellow presenter Matt LeBlanc, the Daily Mail says, “with many taking to Twitter to praise his presenting style and comment on how likeable he was”.
Leaked audience data reveals the BBC received 370 complaints about the first episode of the new show, making it the “worst programme on terrestrial television” in its opening weekend.

However, the reviews have been less than impressive and the ratings have crashed after only two episodes. The two million-plus catch-up viewers helped make the show the strongest launch episode since season 19, the BBC said, with a 28.8% share, up on the 2015 launch episode of 20.8% and the 2015 series average of 21.8%.

When the BBC removed motoring presenter Jeremy Clarkson from their personnel following reports of an altercation he had with a producer while filming Top Gear, it was clear that things were going to change in a big way for the popular motoring series.
