South Carolina Polls: Clinton On Verge Of Landslide Over Sanders
A Democratic candidate needs 2,383 delegates to win the nomination and the 11-state voting bonanza on March 1 accounts for 865 of those. Clinton lost the state overwhelmingly to President Barack Obama in a heated contest where her husband, former President Bill Clinton, was seen by some as questioning the legitimacy of the black presidential contender.

Sanders campaigned Monday in the state, stopping in Boston for a press conference and at the University of Massachusetts Amherst for a rally.
Sanders is just trying to put up some fight in the primary, he said.
The Democrats have 37 delegates up for grabs in Kansas, while the Republicans have 40.
Clinton is more overt about her attempt to break the glass ceiling compared to her 2008 presidential campaign, when she emphasized her experience and toughness.
SANDERS: And to hear what is happening to the children in this community is so horrific. His robust online fundraising operation has drawn more than 4 million contributions since last spring and his average donation of $27 is so well-known among his supporters they often shout out the number when he talks about it during rallies. “I’ve been working with some staff who are working very diligently to pull this off, and I know the staff are excited”, said Wilson. Bernie Sanders, on gun control.
It’s a sign Sanders is looking ahead to march, when a large share of the party’s delegates will be awarded. “I’ve met people from multiple Senate districts, and what’s cool about our organization is that we have organizers stretched from Kansas City to Dodge City”, said Lauren Brainerd of Wichita, state director of the Clinton campaign.
The former president urged democrats to look beyond any criticism the primary has stirred up about his wife.
In practice, she said, the superdelegates almost always vote according to how the public votes because nearly all are elected officials and are not likely to go against the will of the people.
Asked which of the three Democratic candidates – Joe Sestak, Katie McGinty and John Fetterman – they are leaning toward supporting, 81 percent of those surveyed said were undecided.
She came face-to-face with controversy at a SC fundraiser Wednesday night.
A widely circulated video of the event shows a young woman interrupting Clinton and asking her to “apologize to black people for mass incarceration”. “They’re saying please send us somebody else, she’ll make us behave and get something done”.

“They are often the kinds of kids that are called ‘superpredators.’ No conscience, no empathy”, Clinton said at the time.
