South Georgia police officer shot, killed while responding to 911 call
Royheem Deeds, the man that is suspected of killing a police officer in Georgia, is being chased and a reward of 10,000 dollars has been offered for information leading to his arrest.

Smith had been with Eastman police for more than five years, the GBI said.
Georgia Bureau of Investigations spokesperson Scott Dutton said authorities are “still working to apprehend the shooter”.
He is survived by three children, Landon, Lander and Madison and three siblings.
While on patrol, Smith encountered the subject and exited his vehicle. The suspect fled the scene, the AP reports.
Smith was not wearing a body camera.
A police officer was fatally shot while responding to a call about a suspicious person near an intersection in southern Georgia, police said on Sunday.

His father, Lewis Smith, is an officer with the Glenwood police department, in neighboring Wheeler County.
Officer Scott Davis was shot in the leg early Sunday, Marietta police spokeswoman Kelah Wallace said. He later died at a nearby hospital.
The officers approached two suspects who were inside a vehicle, Wallace said. Police have not released the names of the two juveniles – both 15 – who were arrested in his shooting.

The suspect was hospitalized in critical condition.
