The Washington Huskies and Washington State Cougars will both be playing their bowl games the day after Christmas in the same state at the same time. The Huskies were 6-6 overall, 4-5 in Pac-12 play.

The Heart of Dallas Bowl will be played Saturday, December 26th. Lost to Oklahoma State 30-22 in last year’s Cactus Bowl.
Washington seems to be making some strides under Chris Petersen, and a nice bowl win here would give them a ton of momentum going into next season. Several projections had the Huskies in the Armed Forces Bowl against Air Force – the bowls are operated by the same ownership – but California will play against Air Force instead.
