In addition to Coffiest’s debut, Soylent will introduce a new product category with Soylent Bar. But the 400 calories glass was just the opening act.

The makers of Soylent are now going to put coffee in their nutritional drink. The drink has 75 mg of caffeine in each bottle along with L-theanine, which is used to promote relaxation.

The company’s fans no longer have to consume two different liquids in the morning.

The ready-to-pour potion – aimed at time-crunched people who might skip breakfast – has a “rich coffee flavor with a touch of cocoa powder”, Soylent founder Rob Rhinehart told the Daily News. Each bottle is said to contain 20 percent of the daily recommended vitamins. Soylent will donate one meal** to World Food Program USA for every case of Coffiest and Bar sold, thus contributing to our goal of providing 1 million meals to those in need by the end of 2016. He also managed to live off Soylent for 30 days in the hope that he would set an example of suitable food.

Soylent, the famed meal replacement that went on to find a devoted fanbase online and in Silicon Valley, isn’t done innovating on its formula.

The beverage is available for sale in the USA and in Canada in packs of twelve for between $37-$39. The new drink is intended for breakfast, and eschews the intentionally bland style of its predecessor Soylent. Please let us know in the comment section below.
