‘Spaced-out’ Jay McGuiness takes the Strictly crown
During last night’s final, the Wanted star was consistently awarded the lowest scores by the judges as he competed against Kellie Bright and Georgia May Foote.

Last night the 2015 series of Strictly Come Dancing came to a spectacular close with Jay McGuiness taking home the Glitterball Trophy.
Kevin Clifton reached the final of the series for the third consecutive year, the only professional dancer to do so, after partnering TV presenter Susanna Reid and singer Frankie Bridge in previous years.
Kellie was riding high throughout and was only one mark off a ideal score, while Jay was beneath both her and Georgia.
However, the judging panel picked up on flaws in the dance they had requested.
Craig was first to reveal his 10, and there was shock in the ballroom and in living rooms across the country.
They reprised their quickstep to 42nd Street and judge Darcey Bussell enthused: “You never fail to be this lovely, classy lady”. Len said “pure joy” and told Georgia that she’s a little fireball. That dance was exactly what a tango should be.
The former Wanted singer, 25, may have walked away with this year’s Glitterball Trophy over the weekend but is now on a mission to piece his life back together after he was forced to suspend his daily routine while training for the BBC show.
The comments: Craig said that Kellie could be a worthy victor and told her that she was one of the most exciting performers he’d been witness to.
Bruno said the dance was “exhilarating” and “showstopping”, adding: “That’s how a champion wins”. But four nines kicked things off very nicely and moments later he was joined at the top by Georgia May Foote, the Corrie actress also notching up 36 points.
Meanwhile, broadcaster Katie Derham and partner Anton Du Beke finished in fourth place.

While Craig Revel Horwood chimed in with: “I was disappointed, I know you are capable of so much for, it felt like a bit of a cop out”.
