“We are not lucky in the Premier League”, Jose Mourinho, the Chelsea manager, told BT Sport.

Jose Mourinho has revealed he left the Chelsea dressing room early at half-time against Porto in order to avoid a suspension in the Blues’ next Champions League match.

“He only looks after himself, and has no consideration for how his players are feeling and thinking”.

With Yarmolenko injured and chasing a place in the Champions League last 16 for the first time in 16 years, Dynamo slowed the pace of the game down in a contest which produced few goalscoring chances. “He can not talk to players like they should be spoken to”.

Porto captain Maicon said his side will “give everything” to win the Europa League following their elimination from the Champions League.

“But when we won at Porto in 2004 we were not candidates”.

“When we were candidates with Real Madrid we lost two semi-finals and the same with Chelsea, so you never know”.

Erstwhile league leader Manchester City FC (9-4-2, 29 points) will look to get out of its current rut as it faces stumbling team Swansea City AFC (3-7-5, 14 points) for a 2015-2016 Premier League matchup at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, December 12.

“Every team doesn’t want to play Barcelona, they don’t want to play Real Madrid, they don’t want to play Atletico (Madrid), they don’t want to play Bayern Munich”.

The goal left Porto needing three goals to qualify and manager Julen Lopetegui threw caution to the wind as Ruben Neves and Vincent Aboubakar entered the fray.

The striker was first dropped for the champions’ game away to Tottenham and made headlines after he was seen tossing his bib seemingly in the direction of Mourinho once it became apparent he would not be brought on at White Hart Lane. He has a clear lack of confidence but his attitude is very good: “his effort, his commitment, his great movement, which he did not have for two months before”.

“They were better than us and there’s no excuse”, said Valencia coach Gary Neville, the former Manchester United and England defender who took over the Spanish club on Sunday.

“His lack of confidence?”

The Portuguese team tested Courtois but the keeper and his defence held firm in a way they have failed to do in the Premier League. “We had three or four good chances but there were some unlucky situations that changed the result completely”.
