Spartanburg Methodist College on lockdown after cop shooting on SC
SLED agents said the officer was investigating a vehicle break-in at the time of the incident. Investigators stated one of many suspects was captured after a quick foot chase. The other got into a vehicle and struck the officer while trying to drive off, Berry said.

The dead man’s name has not yet been released. The lockdown was still in effect as of midnight EST Tuesday.
