Then, with Michigan State trying to come back, running back L.J. Scott fumbled and Badgers linebacker Leo Musso picked up the fumble and ran it back 66 yards for the score.

“Like Kelly said, Maryland is a team that fights really hard and they’re a team that will have that happen and then turn up their game and go even harder”. “Our focus never fell off, we just made a few errors and just weren’t clean but I think that happens sometimes in matches”.

Watt reacts after a teammate sacked Michigan State quarterback Tyler O’Connor (not pictured) during the fourth quarter at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Mich., on September 24, 2016. The Badgers (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten) were the better team in the first half and outscored the Spartans 17-0 in the third quarter.

(4) Michigan 49, Penn State 10: De’Veon Smith led an overwhelming ground game with 107 yards rushing and a touchdown and Karan Higdon ran for two scores and the Wolverines routed the visiting Nittany Lions in both teams’ Big Ten opener in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Musso’s fumble return gave Wisconsin a 20-6 lead early in the third.

O’Connor had his roughest performance of his career, completing 18-of-38 pass attempts for 224 yards and three interceptions. “And now we’ll take some shots”.

Hornibrook hit Jazz Peavy three times for big gains: 25 yards on third-and-10 on UW’s first scoring drive, for 23 yards on third-and-12 on the second scoring drive and 31 yards on third-and-8 to set up a field goal and a 23-6 lead. Hornibrook wasn’t spectacular (16-of-26), but he kept his cool.

“That’s something that I take pride in, just staying the same level, not going too far up or too far down”, he said.

Jalen Hurts ran and passed for a touchdown and tailback sub Joshua Jacobs scored his first two career touchdowns in the Crimson Tide’s win.

The drive: 15 plays, 62 yards, 5:51.

Rutgers (2-2, 0-1) tied the game early in the fourth quarter on a 14-yard touchdown pass from Chris Laviano to Patton.

Wisconsin followed that up with a time-gnawing drive – a 7-minute, 38-second march that covered 65 yards in 16 plays.

Win over Northwestern moves the Cornhuskers to 4-0.

Standout edge rushers Myles Garrett and Daeshon Hall get most of the attention on Texas A&M’s outstanding defense, but Watts delivered several critical plays in Saturday’s win over Arkansas.

Corey Clement ran for two touchdowns for Wisconsin. The ball was snapped and LSU quarterback Danny Etling scrambled right and bought enough time to find D.J. Clark open in the back of the end zone. To make matters worse, star running back Nick Chubb injured an ankle in the second quarter and didn’t return.

The Badgers beat the brakes off the Spartans on both sides of the football.
