Speaker of US House Paul Ryan urges Ohio delegation to back Trump
“So many people turn on the TV and they just see a food fight…they just see people yelling at each other”, Ryan said.

OH delegates cast their 66 votes on Tuesday for Kasich, who won the state’s primary and has declined to endorse Trump for being too divisive. The former Hamilton County commissioner said OH will play an important role in electing next president and it’s going to take working together.
Like speakers past, Ryan offered comments here and there critical of President Barack Obama’s current administration, and the possibilities of a second Clinton White House. “2016 is the year America moves on”, he said.
He also appeared hopeful that Trump’s decision to add Indiana Gov. Mike Pence to the ticket as his vice presidential running mate would “bridge the gap” among conservatives in the party.
U.S. Speaker Paul Ryan made his pitch to Ohio Republicans, still hesitant about supporting Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, with a sports reference.
“I want to win this election so darn badly that I’m willing to do this”, Ryan told the group.
“A lot of us served with Mike Pence-this is a man who really does know his principles”, Ryan said.
“Despite repeatedly attacking Trump’s divisive rhetoric and unsafe policies, Speaker Paul Ryan has chosen to put politics over country and wholeheartedly endorse Donald Trump and his candidacy for president”, Drummond said.
Ryan not long ago said he was “just not ready” to back Trump.
On Tuesday, he’ll call for Republicans to practice “aspirational and unifying politics” and make the election a “contest of ideas”, against Hillary Clinton and Democrats, according to an aide.
Ryan’s visit to Elyria highlights the first component of his agenda – a push to fight poverty more effectively than the USA government has done for the last 50 years. “I’m excited to have the chance to talk about our country’s future with so many of Pennsylvania’s grassroots activists”.
Ryan also focused on party unity, even bringing up college football.

Ohio Governor John Kasich earned considerable praise at the breakfast, both by Speaker Ryan and other delegates, who say they are “proud of our Governor”.
