‘Spectre’ breaks record for world’s biggest explosion

India missed its chance to get a sneak peak into the world of Bond, which runs high on attractive women, gadgets, and cars along with a dose of glamour and glitz, in 2012 as director Sam Mendes had to abandon his plans to shoot the 23rd James Bond movie Skyfall in Mumbai over a few shooting difficulties. The explosion lasted for 7.5 seconds.

While I personally thought “Skyfall” was one of the best Bond films to date, there were complaints that it didn’t pack enough action for a Bond exploit.

A gargantuan 8418 litres of fuel and 33 kilograms of explosives were used to create the scene. which was filmed in Erfoud, Morocco. Chris Corbould is an Academy Award winning special effects and miniature effects supervisor. But it was the films producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli who spoke about the record. I love Daniel Craig as Bond, and I knew for this film they’d be pulling out all the stops. It was a story that tied together and wrapped up every loose end from the previous three Bond films and felt very much like the end of an era, right down to an actual stroll down memory lane near the film’s climax.

“Spectre” is scheduled to be released in China on November 13th. The studio is close to earning it back, making $294.9 million worldwide, as of November 9.

(Yes, even worse than Roger Moore!) He looks like he’s out to eat somebody’s face in this film, like they smeared the actresses’ faces with peanut butter before calling “Action!” On Metacritic the film has a rating of 60 out of 100, which means mixed or average reviews. Bond running through the day of the dead parade is really well shot and the whole scene is just plain exciting.

“Daniel is filming for something, like, seven months and he’s in virtually 95 per cent of the film and does all his own stunts”, Fiennes revealed during an appearance on US talk show Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday (11Nov15), “so I think anything he says after that is (from) a man who has a certain version of post traumatic stress syndrome”. That allows for Craig to add a deeper color to a role that he seems completely comfortable in playing. He did not confirm that he was done but rumors surfaced again after his latest comments. To put it simply, Spectre dumps into your lap everything you expect of a modern action thriller that isn’t after all, science fiction.
