Spectre just set an explosive new Guinness World Record
For what it’s worth, I think Spectre is getting bashed a little too harshly by critics. These three factors are, of course, the foundation in which every James Bond action film is built upon. He lost much that was important to him in “Skyfall” including the spy agency director, “M”, whom he revered. It’s only the first of many highly imaginative and stunning action scenes that prove we have not yet seen it all. The soundtrack, orchestrated by Thomas Newman, creates a classic Bond sound with a modern touch that captures the essence of a true Bond film.

On the surface, this is a completely serviceable Bond plot, particularly when you add in Christoph Waltz as the main villain and Dave Bautista (fresh off his “Guardians of the Galaxy” triumph) as his henchman.
Spectre, starring Daniel Craig in his fourth James Bond film, opened in Tauranga today. Since he’s currently under scrutiny due to the merger of MI5 and MI6 into a division now known as the Joint Intelligence Service, M benches Bond indefinitely. “He’s a great actor”. So is it time to reinvent the Bond franchise again, a move that is far from unusual in a Hollywood where Spider-Man was recently cast for the third time? After more than five decades of Bond, that’s a hell of an achievement. I get why Daniel responded the way he did. The Independent’s headline reads: “Spectre: James Bond is still a sexist dinosaur-but audiences love it”. “One thing I am certain of is that the Bond franchise is as healthy and strong as ever”.
“Yes! The actor have viewed them (Bollywood films) and they have been fantastic”.
But amid all this, there is the spectacle of the opening Day of the Dead sequence, no shortage of naked ladies in the opening credits, a few nifty gadgets thanks to Q (Ben Whishaw) and a couple lovely women (Monica Bellucci as a not-so-grieving widow and Lea Seydoux as a doctor with ties to Spectre) for 007 to work (and play) with while he tracks down Spectre’s leader.

While the refreshing scene in Mexico doesn’t last long, and the film quickly returns to quick cuts and lightning-fast fist-fights, Spectre remains a clear showing of how the casting choices in this series make or break the release.
