Rumors abound that WWE dropped Hogan preemptively because audio of him going on a racial tirade is about to surface.
The sudden removal of Hogan content from WWE.com and the frenzied speculation on social media for the reasons why has prompted the bookies to slash his odds of winning the next CBB, which is rumoured to have a UK vs US theme. Previous links to Hogan on the website now lead to messages that read, “You are not authorized to access this page”.
WWE has removed all mentions of the 61-year-old wrestler’s name from its official website, and he is no longer listed as one of the 3 judges of the Tough Enough reality show, which he appeared on alongside performers Daniel Bryan and Paige. Old stories linked to Hogan also appear in the website’s archives.

While nothing has yet to be confirmed regarding Hogan’s disappearance from the WWE sites, Dave Meltzer, arguably the most respected professional wrestling journalist, tweeted: “WWE web site told a few hours ago to remove all references to him”. A YouTube video was published Friday morning with audio from a Hogan interview from an unknown time in which the former wrestler uses the N-word in conversation. And, considering that the 2012 interview was broadcast over satellite radio and was not any kind of private recording, this would seem to be the case.
