One man was killed and several others were injured during a boat crash that occurred during a race at the Bill Giles Memorial Regatta in Taunton on Saturday, according to The Boston Globe.
Another Maine man, 72, suffered minor injuries. The second boat, operated by the deceased man, collided with the first. A second boater, a 67-year-old man from ME, was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital in critical condition, and a 72-year-old ME man was treated for minor injuries. He said all three drivers were thrown from their boats.
